Arrest made in 2010 sex assault of girl, 12

Toronto police have arrested a man after a young girl was sexually assaulted, and they believe there may be more victims.

The girl was 12 when the alleged assaults began in 2010.

The accused allegedly made friends with the girl and her family, and sexually assaulted her “multiple” times between 2010 and 2012.

Guy Roberts, 53, was arrested on Wednesday. He is charged with two counts of sexual assault and two counts of sexual interference.

Police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
