Compliments brand Broccoli Slaw recalled due to listeria concerns

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is warning the public not to consume Compliments brand Broccoli Slaw due to possible listeria contamination.
Sobeys has recalled the product from its store shelves. It was sold in Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Saskatchewan.
The slaw was sold in 340-gram packages with a best before date of Nov. 25, 2016, and UPC 0 68820 10422 3.
The recalled products should be thrown out or returned to the store where they were purchased.
Food contaminated with Listeria may not look or smell spoiled but can still make you sick. Symptoms can include vomiting, nausea, persistent fever, muscle aches, severe headache and neck stiffness. In severe cases of illness, people may die.
No illnesses have been reported.
