Some parking by-laws not enforced on Victoria Day

By News Staff

Toronto drivers can breathe a little easier on Victoria Day.

Toronto Police Service Parking Enforcement will not be enforcing some street parking by-laws on holiday Monday.

The temporary suspension of enforcement covers:

• Pay-and-display/metered areas

• Rush-hour routes

• Posted signs indicating Monday to Friday regulations

But it’s not a blanket free-pass. All other areas and offences will continue to be enforced.

All parking by-laws will be back in effect as per usual on Tuesday.
