3 young offenders arrested in stabbing at Mississauga high school

Peel police have arrested three young offenders after a 15-year-old boy was stabbed in a high school classroom on Wednesday.

It happened at St. Francis Xavier Secondary School in Mississauga around 11 a.m.

Police said four boys got into a fight, and one boy was stabbed. His injuries are not life-threatening. The victim was rushed to hospital and two 16-year-old boys were arrested at the scene.

A male suspect was seen fleeing the scene and was later arrested.

Police said both the victim and the suspects are students at the school.

The names of the suspects will not be released, under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
