Video of the Day: Anchor flips the bird live on TV

Making an obscene gesture on live television in front of hundreds of thousands of viewers is a mistake one Russian news anchor won’t be living down any time soon.

The award-winning, senior news anchor can be seen briskly giving the middle finger when talking about U.S. President Barack Obama.

The anchor was reading a script and didn’t realize she was on the screen when she raised her left arm and raised her middle finger to the camera.

The television station says the anchor will not be punished, nor will she be asked to apologize.
