Teen shot at highrise near The East Mall in Etobicoke

A teen is in hospital after he was shot in Etobicoke on Wednesday afternoon.
It happened around 12:45 p.m. at a highrise on Capri Road, near The East Mall and Rathburn Road.
Paramedics took the teen to a trauma centre with serious injuries, but he is expected to survive.
Two female teens were also taken to a local hospital for observation. Police said they were not physically hurt, just overwhelmed.
Police said they are searching the area for possibly two suspects who may have fled on foot or by car.
Two schools in the area were briefly placed under a hold-and-secure as a precaution.
