Suspects at large after separate shootings at house party, nightclub

Toronto police are investigating two shootings that happened on opposite ends of the city.

The first happened around 10:45 p.m. at a house party near O’Connor Drive and St. Clair Avenue East.

A male was shot in the hand and taken to hospital.

Witnesses reported hearing six to eight gunshots and said they saw a silver car fleeing the scene and one person running north on Alder Road.

Shortly before 2:30 a.m. another male was shot in the arm at Moda Nightclub on Keele Street near the York University campus.

Bystanders said the shots came from a white car with three or four suspects inside.

Police found several shell casings at the scene.

No arrests have been made in either case.

Earlier on Friday, around 6:45 p.m., a 16-year-old boy was shot on Bellamy Road North in Scarborough and later died in hospital.
