Woman collapses after Sporting Life 10K

A woman believed to be in her 20s collapsed at the finish line of the Sporting Life 10K on Sunday.

She was taken to hospital, where she remains in life-threatening condition.

“It’s very rare that something like this happens,” race director Jay Glassman told CityNews.

The race, called the “easiest and fastest” in Canada, began on Yonge Street north of Eglinton Avenue at 8 a.m.
