Police Release Photo Of Toronto Man Accused Of Running A Ponzi Scheme

Police are looking for a Toronto man accused of running a Ponzi scheme, defrauding more than 100 people of a whopping $30 million.

The suspect is believed to have called himself the “Chinese Warren Buffet” and used that name in online trades between January 2006 and March 2009.

While some of his victims are Canadian, others have been located in the United States and China.

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Weizhen Tang, 51.

Tang is described as:

  • Chinese
  • 5’2”
  • 130 lbs
  • short black hair
  • glasses
