One person is in custody after a police stand off with an armed man

Peel Police have a 46-year-old man in custody after an armed stand off, Thursday.

The man was barricaded inside a home on Shaw Drive in the Lakeshore and Cawthra area.

Several cruisers and a heavily armed tactical squad were on scene.

There are no reports of injuries.
