Russia’s space agency says an unmanned supply ship headed for the International Space Station has failed to reach its planned orbit.
The agency says the third stage of the rocket powering the ship into space failed at 325 seconds into launch and the ship crashed into Siberia.
The spacecraft was carrying three tons of supplies.
The crash may delay the launch of the next launch which is scheduled to take place in one month, as well as the return of three astronauts heading back to Earth from the space station in two weeks.
