Visiting hours cancelled at Finch campus of Humber River Hospital, Tuesday evening only

TORONTO, Ont. – People with family or friends who are inpatients at Humber River Hospital’s Finch campus will not be permitted to visit, Tuesday evening.
Visiting hours have been cancelled due to a leaking water pipe, which has disrupted the hospital’s supply of water.
As a result, the hospital’s main water supply will be shut off beginning at 6 p.m. Tuesday, to allow for repairs. They are expected to be complete by 10 p.m.
Portable water sources will be provided in clinical areas for patient care during the repair. However, water in public areas, such as in public washrooms, will not be available.
Visiting hours will resume on Wednesday, starting at 11 a.m.
Exceptions are made for anyone visiting patients in critical care.
The hospital is located on Finch Avenue West, one block east of Highway 400.
