Man arrested after double-stabbing leaves 1 dead, another injured in North York

Toronto police have made an arrest in a double stabbing that killed one man and left another in critical condition in North York.
Toronto police responded to reports of a stabbing around 11 p.m. on Tuesday near Jane Street and Driftwood Avenue.
Officers located two men suffering from multiple stab wounds when they arrived on the scene.
Both victims were transported to a hospital with critical injuries. One of them, identified as a 24-year-old from Newcastle, Ont., was later pronounced dead.
Police did not reveal the victim’s name. The second man, a 25-year-old, is in stable condition after suffering life-threatening injuries.
On Wednesday, 22-year-old Haroon Imran of Toronto was arrested and charged with manslaughter and aggravated assault.
Imran appeared in court earlier today.
