Stabbing at Fort York condo leaves woman with life-threatening injuries

A woman has life-threatening injuries and a man is in custody following an overnight stabbing at a condo in Toronto’s Fort York neighbourhood.
Police were called to a residential building at Fleet and Bastion streets, near Lake Shore Boulevard and Bathurst Street, around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Officials say two people got into an argument at the building which led to a woman being stabbed multiple times. She was rushed to hospital in life-threatening condition.
A man fled the scene but was arrested a short time later. He was sent to hospital and treated for minor injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
