Two charged after road rage incident in Bremner Boulevard and Lower Simcoe Street area

Two people have been charged after an alleged road rage incident in the Bremner Boulevard and Lower Simcoe Street area on Saturday night.
At approximately 7:10 p.m. on Saturday, police responded to reports of a collision in the area after a blue Ford Escape SUV with three passengers allegedly became involved in a road rage incident with another driver.
The driver of the Ford Escape smashed the hood of the other vehicle with a collapsible baton and started to flee the area.
Officers attempted to stop the vehicle, but the man proceeded to drive through heavy traffic and onto the sidewalk.
The vehicle almost hit pedestrians and struck seven other stopped cars in the process before being stopped by officers.
Officers arrested two men and two women in the vehicle.
No serious injuries were reported.
Corey Lane, 25, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with possession of a weapon, mischief to property under $5,000, two counts of failure to stop for police, four counts of dangerous operation, possession of property obtained By crime under $5,000, driving a motor vehicle while suspended and use of an unauthorized plate.
He was scheduled to appear at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre on Sunday.
Audrey Humphreys, 18, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with carrying a concealed weapon.
She is scheduled to appear in court at the Ontario Court of Justice Toronto on September 13.
The two remaining passengers were released unconditionally.
