4 injured in multi-vehicle crash in Scarborough

Four people have been injured, two seriously, following a multi-vehicle crash in Scarborough on Wednesday afternoon.
Toronto police responded to the area of Ellesmere and Markham roads just after 2 p.m. for reports of a three-vehicle crash.
Paramedics say they transported a man to hospital with serious, possibly life-threatening injuries.
Two other people were also taken in hospital — one with serious injuries and the other with minor injuries. Their ages are not yet known.
A fourth person was also injured but was assessed at the scene by paramedics.
Police say the vehicles involved in the crash remained at the scene.
Motorists can expect traffic delays in the area as police investigate.
