Woman crashes into tree, suffers critical injuries in Etobicoke

A woman was transported to a trauma centre in critical condition after crashing her vehicle into a tree in Etobicoke.

The Toronto Police Service (TPS) said just before 2 a.m. on Friday a 2011 blue BMW was going westbound on Redgrave Drive near Martin Grove Road when the driver left the roadway and struck a tree.

Officers said a 52-year-old woman was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. No other vehicles were involved.
