Toronto police investigate shooting after victim walks into hospital

Toronto police are investigating a shooting after a victim walked themselves into a hospital on Wednesday night.

Officers were notified of reported gunshots in the Yorkdale Crescent and Jodphur Avenue area just after 9 p.m.

Police confirmed a shooting had occurred and that the victim’s injuries were life-threatening.

The victim’s age and gender were not immediately provided.

There are road closures in the area. Police did not share any suspect description.
