A man in his 50s has died after he fell off an electric scooter on the Bloor Viaduct, police said.
The incident happened around 9 p.m. on Thursday. A single electric scooter was involved, and no other vehicles or cyclists were present.
Toronto Paramedic Services transported a man to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he later died.
Authorities are investigating whether speed was a factor in the crash and whether the e-scooter rider was wearing a helmet.
The investigation is ongoing.
