Possibility of significant snowfall for Toronto Sunday

CityNews meteorologist Adam Stiles is forecasting significant snowfall on Sunday evening in Toronto, following Environment Canada’s special weather statement.

The federal weather forecaster said heavy snow will fall late on Sunday in Toronto and most of southern Ontario.

“We’re going to see light snow to start, picks up in intensity as we head through the [Sunday] afternoon waiting on that system to work its way through,” Stiles said. “So this one could leave us with 10, 15, possibly as much 20 centimetres of snow through parts of southern Ontario.”
