Pedestrian suffers minor injuries after being struck by vehicle on Queensway

A pedestrian is lucky to be alive after he was struck by a car on The Queensway near Islington Avenue.

The incident happened just after 8 p.m. Tuesday night.

Dash-cam video of the incident was sent to CityNews by a viewer.

Warning the video may be disturbing to some viewers

The video shows the pedestrian walk out on to the road between two cars just before he is hit by a passing car. At one point the pedestrian tries to stand-up but can’t.

Police say he suffered minor injuries.

There has been no word on charges.
