Teen Beaten To Death By Mob

Police believe a botched deal of some sort led to the brutal murder of 17-year-old Omar Wellington in Flemingdon Park on Friday night.
The teen was beaten and tortured for hours before being stabbed in the throat and thrown in a ravine where he perished. Several witnesses saw what was transpiring, but no one came forward and called police.
“I think it is better to mind your own business sometimes,” one witness, who wished to remain anonymous, adds. “You can’t go help somebody, then you’re going to get in trouble for helping somebody who didn’t want help.”
“The blood was on his forehead and he had it on his t-shirt, and his socks,” she adds. “People seen him pass by and they asked him ‘Are you okay?’ but he said nothing. He kept walking, he looked like he was looking for those people to fight more.”
Twenty-four hours later, the teen was found dead in a ravine, covered in blood and wearing only underwear.
One witness claims he was being paraded around like a hostage.
An investigation is ongoing.
