Perhaps her parents indulged in a little too much eggnog when they decided on her name.
Mary Christmas has heard just about every Yuletide joke in the book.
The 30-year-old from Gainesville, Ga. is one of six children in her family born around the Christmas season and her little sister’s name is Noel Christmas.
The siblings are all grown up now and now consider their festive family name as a blessing.
“People ask me all the time, ‘What were your parents thinking?”‘ Mary Christmas said. “I never minded. It’s a conversation piece.”
