Thirteen-Year-Old Dies After Tragic Fire At Hangout

Four heroic young men managed to save two boys from a burning house fire in Angus, Ont., but tragically, a third young teen perished in the fierce inferno.

Officials knocked down the charred frame of the abandoned house on Monday, and subsequently found the missing child deceased inside.

“Your world stops and the world keeps going, you just don’t know what to do,” said Donna Weber, whose 13-year-old son Justin was killed.

Four passing teens managed to whisk the other two boys to safety, but both were badly injured.

“We were just concerned about getting these guys to a paramedic or ambulance because they were badly hurt. Both were burnt pretty bad,” said Tyler Kononiuk, who took part in the brave rescue effort.

The house, and several others around the area, were apparently used as hangouts by young people.  An investigation into the cause of fire is ongoing.
