Raptors Defeat Pacers At A.C.C.

The Toronto Raptors snapped a three-game losing streak with an impressive 110-101 win over the Indiana Pacers at the Air Canada Centre Friday night.

Chris Bosh led the way offensively with 22 points while Anthony Parker added 15 points including a remarkable 66-foot buzzer-beater to close the third quarter.

“I thought it had a chance and it looked like it was on line, and after I shot it I yelled, `Come on, give me something,’ I had just missed a free throw and a little five-foot floater,” said Parker.

“I think (the shot) gave us some momentum, a little bounce to our step.”

It was a solid overall effort by the purple dinos, with six players scoring in double digits.

Jamaal Tinsley and Troy Murphy had 20 points each to lead the Pacers, who lost their sixth in a row.

“It’s a relief,” Bosh said about the home win. “But we’re not worried, we don’t get too frantic. We have to do a better job of being aggressive, we have to do a better job of playing defence, and once we do those things, we’re going to defend our home court just fine. I think tonight is going to start it off for us.”
