Paramprit Dhinsa, just 23 years old, was found sprawled on the ground beside his SUV. An unidentified Malton man made the grim discovery around 4pm and immediately called police. They rushed to the Reindeer Drive and Morningstar Drive area, and determined Dhinsa had been shot.
He was quickly taken to a local hospital, but it was too late. Dhinsa succumbed to his injuries a short time later.
Police were looking for two suspects in the case, and arrested one of them Saturday.

Officers also found that the same teen may have committed an armed robbery just before the murder, and he’s facing charges for that alleged crime as well.
