If it was a Halloween prank, it was very unfunny.
Officials in the U.K. are on the hunt for a practical joker with a nasty sense of humour. The unknown culprit spread a thick wad of superglue in the worst place possible this weekend. And a 35-year-old paid a terrible price for it.
The unthinking creep put the sticky material on a steel toilet seat in a public washroom in a place called Brierley Hill in the West Midlands area of Britain. A man using the facility sat down to do his business for a few minutes unaware of the substance and promptly became seriously stuck.
It was so bad that he had to call emergency crews for help and even they weren’t able to get him out of his embarrassing predicament. The fire department was forced to cut the man and the toilet free from the stall and transport both wedged together in an ambulance to a nearby hospital.
Finally, a doctor was able to use a chemical to loosen the seal and the man emerged sore, red faced and angry, but fortunately not physically harmed. The toilet was eventually cleaned off and put back where it came from.
Authorities have no leads on the prankster and it’s expected even if they do find him, they may have trouble getting the charges to stick.
