Security Video Released In Pacific Mall Shooting

York Regional Police are asking the public to take a close look at images from a mall surveillance video released Sunday.
Detectives are hoping the footage will help them track down a man wanted in connection with the murder of a store employee at Pacific Mall in Markham.
This surveillance video shows the suspect entering the cell phone store XSITE, the scene of the deadly shooting Friday. He bolted just after the incident.
The 26-year-old victim, Chun Kit “Daniel” Cheong of Toronto was shot once in the head and died later in hospital.
The suspect is described as:
- Male
- Dark complexion
- 6′
- Thin build
- Some facial hair
- Last seen wearing grey hooded sweatshirt with the hood up and dark-coloured pants
- Armed with a handgun
