Final Search Underway For Woman Missing Since 2007

A search is underway in a northern Ontario park in a last-ditch effort to find a Toronto woman who went missing two years ago.

Twenty-year-old Christina Calayca was last seen on August 6, 2007 near the Rainbow Falls Provincial Park in the Thunder Bay area, but so far searchers have wound up empty-handed.

The team from Minnesota plans to focus on the Whitesand River where they believe they spotted human remains last fall. Back then it was too slippery to access.

Two dozen people and five cadaver dogs are taking part in the search which wraps up on Sunday.
