Man Dies After Being Hit By Car Near Collingwood

A 32-year-old man has died in hospital after he was struck by a car in Wasaga Beach Friday evening.
The man had been transported to St. Michael’s Hospital after the incident in Wasaga Beach in which he and a 19-year-old woman were hit by an SUV while walking on the shoulder of River Road West.
The woman suffered only minor injuries.
The OPP has so far charged Radenko Bukvic with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm, but the investigation is ongoing.
Police are withholding the victim’s identity until his family has been notified of his death.
