Teen Shot In City’s West End

A teenager is in hospital with serious injuries after a shooting Friday evening.
It happened just before 7:30pm on Windermere Avenue, north of the Queensway.
A 15-year-old boy was shot in the lower body and was taken to a trauma centre with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
Some witnesses said they heard several shots fired.
Police are investigating and have not yet released a suspect description.
