Street Beat – January 19 – Apartment Fire On Spadina

An early-morning fire wreaked havoc for drivers but luckily, there were no injuries.
The blaze began at an apartment building at 426 Spadina Ave., south of College Street, just before 8am.
The southbound lanes of Spadina were temporarily reduced to one lane as fire trucks parked on the street.
The building was evacuated and the fire was quickly extinguished.
