Two doctors charged in gang sexual assault

Toronto police have charged two doctors with drugging and sexually assaulting a young woman in a downtown hotel.

They say on Sunday February 13, the victim met the men in a bar in the Queen St. West and University Av. area.

The woman, 23, was meeting the men under the pretence of receiving career advice.

The group then moved to a second bar in the Wellington St. and Spadina Ave. area where the woman was allegedly drugged.

Police say she was taken back to a hotel and sexually and sexually assaulted.

Amitabh Chauhan, 32, of Ancaster and Suganthan Kayilasanathan, 32, of Markham have been charged with administering a noxious thing and gang sexual assault.

They were scheduled to appear in court at old City Hall Saturday morning.
