Teen girl in hospital after daylight shooting

A 15-year-old girl is in hospital after a shooting Sunday afternoon in North York.
It happened shortly before 2 p.m. on Neptune Drive, near Baycrest Arena in the Highway 401 and Allen Road area.
“Officers arrived on scene and they located a female, she was suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen area. She’s been taken to the hospital, and her condition is considered to be non-life threatening at this point,” said Toronto police Duty Insp. Sonia Thomas.
“There is some indication there was a fight prior to the sound of gunshots.”
There are reports police are looking for three suspects and have set up a perimeter around the crime scene.
Officers are canvassing the area, looking to speak to witnesses. There are no suspect descriptions at this time.
