Firefighters battle fire at Ajax townhouse complex

A large blaze has been brought under control at a townhouse complex under construction in Ajax.
The fire started around at around 10 p.m. Monday in the Rossland Road East and Salem Road area late Monday night.
Platoon chief Paul Ritchie told 680News there were no injuries in the blaze.
The fire forced the removal of 25 people from their homes.
The damage is estimated to be between $1-2 million.
The Ontario Fire Marshal has been called in to investigate.
