Oakville residents warned of increased break-ins

OAKVILLE, Ont. – There has been a recent increase in break-and-enters across Oakville.
Homeowners are being reminded to make sure their doors and windows are locked and to keep their exterior lights on.
Halton Regional Police said most of the illegal entries have occurred at the rear of the house and in some cases, the residents were at home asleep.
There have been no reports of anybody being hurt.
