Pizzolitto, Gatti not returning to Impact

MONTREAL — The Montreal Impact announced Monday that defenders Nevio Pizzolitto and Simon Gatti will not return to the team in 2012.
The club says Pizzolitto has been presented a number of options by management and is expected to make a decision in the next few days.
Gatti, meanwhile, is considering a new role with Montreal’s youth academy.
The Impact head to Orlando, Fla., on Tuesday to kick off their third and final pre-season tour before the start of team’s inaugural season in Major League Soccer.
A total of 33 players will travel to Florida, including midfielder Lamar Neagle and striker Mike Fucito, who were acquired in a trade with the Seattle Sounders on Friday.
