Raonic wins tournament, ATP ranking drops

TORONTO — Despite winning in San Jose on the weekend, Canadian Milos Raonic fell three places to No. 35 in the new ATP Tour world rankings.

The 21-year-old from Thornhill, Ont., won the same tournament last year.

Denis Istomin of Uzbekistan, Sunday’s losing finalist in the SAP Open, jumped 12 places to No. 49.

There were no changes in the top 12 with World No. 1 Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, Andy Murray, and David Ferrer leading the way.

American John Isner moved up one position to No. 13.
