Oil spill forces road closure in Newmarket

An oil spill in Newmarket on Wednesday morning forced York police to close Green Lane between Woodbine Avenue and Harry Parkway Avenue.
The spill was caused by a truck losing its oil pans. It happened around 5 a.m.
Crews had to bring in a dump truck full of sand to clean up the oil.
