Missing Burlington man, 81, found safe: police

A missing 81-year-old man — who was missing since Tuesday evening — has been found and taken to hospital to be checked out, Halton police said.
Michael Bendik, of Burlington, was supposed to be a barbeque at Tansley Woods Community Centre — near Walker’s Line and Upper Middle Road — at around 7 p.m., but he never made it to the park, and didn’t come home.
Police were concerned for his safety because he suffers from early signs of dementia and has several health issues that require medication.
