2 arrested in Bloor and Sherbourne shooting

TORONTO – Two men have been arrested following a shooting in downtown Toronto Tuesday that’s left a man in hospital with a serious leg injury.

The province’s Special Investigations Unit has been called in to investigate because one of the arrests was reportedly violent.

A man in his 20s was shot at a barber shop on Sherbourne and Bloor street just before 7 p.m. Tuesday.

The suspects drove off and were involved in a crash at Yonge Street and Marlborough Avenue, but were later arrested.

There’s no word on charges and no further information has been released due to the SIU investigation.
