Toronto police have issued a warning after a man was seen taking photos of children in the city’s east end on Tuesday afternoon.

Officers say the suspicious incident occurred near Queen Street East and Jones Avenue around 5:10 p.m.

When bystanders noticed him taking photos, he panicked, police said, packed up his camera and left.

The man is white, five-feet-11-inches to six-feet-one-inch tall with a medium build. He was wearing beige pants and a green shirt and was carrying a brown shoulder bag.
