Couple, dog rescued after sliding onto embankment at Bronte Creek Park

Two people and their dog have been found safe after slipping on an embankment at Bronte Creek Provincial Park in Oakville on Sunday.
Police said that a female and male slid and were stuck on the embankment around 3 p.m. Fire responded to the scene and are currently attempting to rescue them.
When officers arrived on scene they said it would take about 40 minutes to get them and that they fell due to heavy rains.
No one was injured, according to police.
The park is known for camping, fishing, hiking, other outdoor activities and has a 115 foot deep ravine.
