Woman found dead after late-night shooting in Mississauga

A 22-year-old woman is dead after a shooting overnight on Ninth Line in Mississauga.
Police were called to the the east side of Ninth Line, between Burnhamthorpe Road West and Dundas Street around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday after receiving calls from several people in the rural area, reporting that they had heard multiple gunshots.
The victim was found outside ni the parking lot area outside a business suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have identified her as Marissa Radstake from Walkerton.
There has been no word on suspects or a possible motive for the shooting.
The homicide bureau has taken over the investigation. Police said because the area where the woman was found is rural there aren’t a lot of security cameras to help in the investigation so they are asking the public for any dashcam footage they may have.
