‘Vax and Treat’ clinics offering COVID-19 shots over Halloween weekend

By Michael Ranger

The City of Toronto’s vaccination campaign will continue over the Halloween weekend.

‘Vax and Treat’ is the latest effort from the city to get more COVID-19 shots into the arms of people living and working in areas with low vaccination rates.

“‘Vax and Treat’ promotes a wide array of local clinics across the city that require no registration,” said Mayor John Tory in a statement.  “It’s simply a matter of popping by a participating mall, community health centre, pharmacy or hospital in your area to get that important first or second dose.”

The campaign has walk-in clinics set up at several malls, hospitals and community centres across the city.
