The City is looking at strengthening its bylaws when it comes to feeding wildlife and wants to hear from Torontonians.
In efforts to improve coexistence between humans and wild animals, and decrease nuisance behaviour, the City said it wants feedback through an online survey until December 17th.
The City said it also wants to “modernize the rules” related to pet licensing, responsible ownership, and explore topics such as cosmetic procedures on pets.

As it stands, intentional feeding of wildlife is prohibited in City parks, but not on public or private property.
Concerns have been raised recently about a group of coyotes spotted in a west end neighbourhood.
Wildlife experts said someone had been feeding the animals, and if the feeding stopped, the coyotes would leave.
Police also fatally shot a coyote at a North York school on Monday, saying they believed it was the same animal that bit two people.
The TWC tweeted that the coyote “was likely being regularly fed,” adding, “together we MUST push to make it socially unacceptable to feed coyotes.”
