Man, 22, dead after found shot in vehicle in Brampton

A 22-year-old man is dead following a shooting in a residential area of Brampton on Tuesday night.
Peel police said they were called to the area of Botavia Downs Drive and Brisdale Drive just before 10 p.m. for reports of a shooting.
When they arrived they discovered the victim inside a vehicle, which was parked outside of a residence, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators said they believe the victim was the intended target. No other injuries were reported.
Police did not have any details as to what may have led up to the incident or any suspect information.
Investigators are asking anyone who has information or surveillance/dash-cam footage to contact them.
