Toronto police are searching for two suspects in a shooting that left one man dead and at least three others injured in the city’s Parkdale neighbourhood.

Officers responded to an incident in the Dunn Avenue and Queen Street West area around 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Acting Deputy Insp. Craig Young confirmed that one man was located in the lobby of an apartment building with serious injuries. Life-saving measures were performed, and this victim was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.

One man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Young said responding officers located a third victim, a woman, suffering from gunshot wounds who had sought refuge on a nearby TTC bus. She was taken to the hospital, but her condition is unclear.

Young says a fourth shooting victim, a man, made his way to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Young confirms that police are searching for two male suspects that fled the scene.

“We do not believe there is any threat to public safety at this time,” Young said, noting that officers were still canvassing the apartment and searching for suspects.
