Officers were called to the Jones Avenue and Boultbee Avenue area just before 10 a.m. on Thursday for reports of a shooting.

Police initially believed a man was shot inside of a residence. A suspect was later taken into custody.

Authorities, along with Toronto paramedics, tell CityNews a shooting victim was not located.

Blake Street Junior Public School was placed in hold and secure due to the proximity of the firearm discharge, but that has since been lifted.
