1 dead, 2 others injured in multi-vehicle crash in Brampton

One man is dead, and two others were seriously injured after a two-vehicle crash in Brampton on Sunday.
Peel police say the collision occurred on Bovaird Drive east of Heritage Road just after 11 a.m.
Two individuals were airlifted to a trauma centre in critical condition, while another was transported by ambulance.
“All three parties had significant injuries at the time of the incident,” Officer Richard Chin told reporters on Sunday. “Unfortunately, the passenger of one of the vehicles has since been pronounced deceased.”
Police have not yet identified any of the individuals involved and are still working to determine the cause of the crash.
Chin says both vehicles had significant damage and encourages anyone with dash cam footage to come forward.
